Safety and compliance with European Union regulations are the foundation of our work. In light of the latest changes in cosmetic product regulations, we would like to inform you that DNKa’ has long been implementing formulas fully compliant with current legal requirements.
Our Commitment: Safety and EU Compliance
- In most of our products, we have never used the banned photoinitiator TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide).
- Starting from September 1, all new DNKa’ formulas will be completely free of both TPO and HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate).
- We are replacing them with modern, safe, and approved photoinitiators that are not listed among banned substances in the EU.
Which photoinitiators do we use instead of TPO?
- BIS-Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphine Oxide (BAPO) – safe and approved for use in the EU.
- LTCure TMO – a modern alternative to TPO, not classified as a restricted substance.
- 1-Hydroxycyclohexyl Phenyl Ketone – a proven, widely used photoinitiator.
- TPO-L (Ethyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phenylphosphinate) – an innovative new-generation formula.
